Green Building Jagonya Ramah Lingkungan

Abstract :

Eco-friendly architecture, which is also called green architecture, includes the relation between humans and their natural environment. Green architecture also contains other dimensions such as time, natural environment, socio-cultural, space, and building techniques. The example is Green Building. The concept of Green Building are the planning, development, operation and maintenance of building that observe the aspects of protecting, saving, reducing the utilization of natural resources, maintaining the quality of the building and the quality of air in the room, and taking care of the health of its inhabitants based on the principle of sustainable development. The benefits of Green Building itself are include environmental, economic, and social benefits.

Abstract :

The Green Industry is an industry icon that must be understood and implemented. The production process of industries will apply efficiency and effectiveness in sustainable resource. It is necessary to support various technologies: to produce raw materials without endangering the sustainability of natural resources, to process raw materials efficiently (zero waste), to provide alternative energy substitutes fossil energy, to provide alternative auxiliaries, and to handle industrial waste. Technology innovation based on nanotechnology and biotechnology will be the part that can accelerate the realization of the green industry concept.

Nanokatalis Si Kimia Hijau

Abstract :


Green Chemistry is the design of chemical products and processes that reduce or eliminate the consume and generation of hazardous substances. The green chemistry revolution provides an enormous number of challenges to those who apply chemistry in industry, education and research. With these challenges, there is a great opportunity to discover the chemistry of chemical manufacturing and to enhance the much-tarnished image of chemistry. Nano-materials are important in many diverse areas, from basic research to various applications in electronics, biochemical sensors, catalysis and energy. They have emerged as sustainable alternatives to conventional materials, as robust high surface area heterogeneous catalysts and catalyst supports. The nano-sized particles increase the exposed surface area of the active component of the catalyst, thereby enhancing the contact between reactants and catalyst dramatically and mimicking the homogeneous catalysts, the example is Nano-Catalyst.

Abstract :


Water is an important source of human life and contributes to global living. Humans need water to carry out daily activities such as agriculture, fisheries, industry, arming and so on. We all depend on water. But in recent days, the issue of provision of qualified water has become a problem for all mankind. In terms of quality and quantity of water has been reduced due to pollution. Water pollution can affect health, safety and ultimately result in economic development. The water crisis can be a threat to the sustainability of generations to come.

Abstract :


Air pollution is the presence of one or more physical, chemical, or biological substances in the atmosphere that can harm human, animal and plant health, impair aesthetics and comfort, or damage property. Air pollution can be generated by natural sources as well as human activities. Some definitions of physical disturbances such as noise pollution, heat, radiation or light pollution are considered as air pollution. In big cities, the contribution of motor vehicle exhaust as source of air pollution reaches 60-70%. While the exhaust gas contribution from industrial chimneys is between 10-15%, the other comes from other sources of combustion, for example from households, burning garbage, forest fires, etc.

Abstract :

Physics is the most fundamental science, learn about the science of living things and the science of physics. In a general sense, all of the science that describes and explains the elements in the world and its penances. The main objective of physics in chemical engineering is to reveal the various interactions that exist in a process, especially interaction, gravity, electromagnetic and core. The interaction requires mathematics, therefore mathematics is the language of physics. Chemical process industries are industries that process raw materials / raw materials into a product / product by utilizing chemical processes. Chemical processes carried out in the chemical process industry is chemical reactions.

Intensitas Polusi Vs Kualitas Hidup di Perkotaan

Abstract :

Urban environment is the highest population for human to live together with the other natural components, supported by environmental land resources to manage the world's environment. Actually, human can increase the capacity of the environment, but if human can't handle it carefully it would cause another disequilibrium or environmental damage. The example of environmental damage are poor air and water quality, insufficient water availability, waste-disposal problems, and high energy consumption. Environmental damage is caused by various factors, such as pollution. Pollution is caused by nature, and some are caused by humans. In Indonesia, environmental damage due to air, water and soil pollution has been very critical. There are the types of pollution and the causes and solutions offered for environmental damage due to pollution can be minimized. Surely, the pollution will affect the quality of life in urban areas or environment.

Formalin pada Kimia Pangan

Abstract :

Food chemistry is the study of all biological and non-biological components of foods by analyzing all of the aspects of foods including food ingredients. The actual goals of research & development in food chemistry are to learn the connection between the identification and functional characteristic of food substance and to improve the safety, nutritional and organoleptic aspects of food. From now and then, Formalin appears in the food industrial. Besides, formalin is a colourless strong-smelling chemical compounds usually used in industry of textiles, plastics, papers, paint, construction, and well known to preserve human corpse. It is derived from formaldehyde gas dissolved in water. And when it found in the food, this substance might be so carcinogenic or the worst, can precipitate cancer. A study showed formalin will cause kidney, liver, and lung problems.

Efek Parfum pada Lingkungan dan Kesehatan

Abstract :

As we know that we usually use perfume in our daily life. Perfume has been around since several years ago. With the basic chemical reaction, mixing perfume was a magical process that could create another new variant of perfume. The first perfumers used oils and dried leaves and seeds from herbs and spices, nuts, and flowers to mix together. It will contain 15% up to 40% fragrance where the most perfumes that exist now has the concentration between 20% to 30% fragrance. But, if we see the basic chemical reaction, the perfume will contain Chlorine in some raw material such as Benzoyl Chloride. Chlorine will easily react to many compounds because Chlorine is a strong oxidator. When Chlorine bound to another organic compounds, they would cause carcinogenic effect. But some industries have been developed it to a green product of perfume that contain Essential Oils, where the sourced of these oils came from plants, woods, herbs, spices, and other organic materials. Some people have a different kind of skin which have a different sense of sensitivity.
